The PR Cavalry in PR Talent Partnership With Crisis and Reputational Risk Advisory Firm, River Effra
The PR Cavalry
We are delighted to announce a strategic talent partnership with River Effra, a new advisory firm devoted entirely to reputational risk and crisis PR.
River Effra has a unique proposition, built around its Expert Panel of specialist, senior advisors which has assembled through The PR Cavalry.
We have identified PR consultants whose practice is almost entirely in the field of reputational risk and crisis management and who work exclusively at director level.
The River Effra Expert Panel, already 10 strong, offers clients the UK’s deepest resource of out and out crisis comms experts who will work independently of a client’s existing PR and comms resources and their advice to clients will not be influenced by any desire to protect expenditure on brand or corporate comms activities.
By virtue of being independent consultants, the Expert Panel has the personal commitment of specialist individuals, but which also has the backing of a larger enterprise enabling them to handle large or enduring situations that would otherwise be beyond the reach of a solo practitioner.
Founder of The PR Cavalry, Nigel Sarbutts, was a colleague of River Effra’s founder, George Hutchinson when they both worked at Burson Marsteller “When George approached me earlier this year, the idea of the collective power of a group of independent experts, whose advice to clients would be uncompromised by short term revenue targets was obvious”
“Clients need unbiased, sometimes unpalatable advice in a crisis and that independence and maturity is at the core of what the Expert Panel offers” he continued. “The depth and breadth of talent we have assembled is super premium and that is the market where River Effra will operate.”
We will be working with River Effra to develop the Expert Panel, helping clients to work with the most appropriate blend of skills from within the panel and realise its potential as a premium offering able to compete in the space where pure advisory services take over from PR & comms.
The launch of River Effra saw the publication of original research amongst director level respondents on the organisational biases revealed during a crisis and we would be happy to send it to you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
